Nothing here creates a relationship with the National Conference of Bar Examiners, the ABA, or a state bar. Trademarks such as “NextGen Bar Exam” and “UBE” belong to their owners; we reference them only to describe preparation context.
Privacy Policy
BarExamNextGen (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects account and study-performance data to provide the service. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
1. Information we collect and its sources
- Information you provide: email, display name, authentication data, role, optional profile information, support messages, and purchase requests.
- Study activity: questions answered, response timing, scores, bookmarks, notes, tutor feedback, and AI feedback returned to you.
- Technical and security data generated through use: IP address, browser/device information, routes requested, timestamps, authentication events, and diagnostic logs.
- Payment metadata received from Stripe, such as transaction, customer, product, amount, and refund identifiers. Stripe collects card details; we do not store full card numbers.
- Optional public-page analytics collected only after consent. Private exam answers, tutor workspaces, account pages, and administration routes are excluded from Google Analytics.
2. How and why we use information
- Deliver simulation, grading, analytics, progress tracking, and requested tutor workflows.
- Operate accounts, authenticate users, process purchases and refunds, provide support, and enforce access rules.
- Improve question quality and platform reliability using aggregated or de-identified statistics.
- Send operational emails, detect abuse, enforce terms, and protect users and service integrity.
3. Service providers and disclosures
- We disclose only what is reasonably necessary to providers supporting hosting, database, payments, email, security, analytics you consent to, and AI feedback.
- Written responses and relevant supplied materials may be sent to a model provider to produce requested grading or feedback. We do not intentionally use student answers to train a public model.
- We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security, in a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards, or with your direction.
- We do not sell personal information, run ad-network pixels, or disclose exam answers to advertisers or data brokers.
4. Optional analytics and cookies
Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics load only after you select Accept analytics. They are limited to public, sign-in, and registration pages. We do not run advertising tags. See the Cookie Policy below for essential storage.
Because optional analytics is off until affirmative consent and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, a browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal does not change essential service storage. We do not treat those signals as a separate analytics-consent instruction; use Privacy settings to decline or withdraw analytics consent. After consent, Google may collect device identifiers and information about online activity over time and across websites or online services under its own terms. We do not authorize other parties to track exam or account activity across unrelated services.
5. Retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, preserve study history requested by the account holder, meet tax/accounting obligations, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention varies by record type. We use access controls, encryption in transit, hashed passwords, scoped credentials, and logging, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and privacy requests
You may ask to know, access, correct, export, or delete personal information, or object to or restrict certain processing where applicable. You may withdraw optional analytics consent through Privacy settings. Email Contact@BarexamNextGen.com with subject line legal. We verify identity before acting, may retain records permitted or required by law, and will not discriminate for exercising an applicable privacy right.
7. Intended audience, transfers, and changes
The service is intended for adults preparing for or teaching bar examinations, not children under 13. Providers may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate. We will post material policy changes here with a revised effective date and provide additional notice when required.
Terms of Use
This is a preparation service. Internal scores, analytics, and completion measures are study feedback only and do not promise or predict an official result. By creating an account, purchasing, or using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
You must provide accurate information, be legally able to enter this agreement, safeguard credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account.
2. Service scope
BarExamNextGen provides original bar-exam preparation content, simulation, analytics, and optional AI-assisted feedback. It is a study tool, not legal advice, an official score report, or an admission service. Internal scores and comments are practice signals only.
3. Acceptable use
- No credential sharing, unauthorized copying, or content redistribution.
- No scraping, automated abuse, reverse engineering, security interference, or attempts to extract protected answer keys.
- No unlawful use, impersonation, harassment, or interference with another user's work.
4. Purchases, access, and refunds
The $150 membership is a one-time purchase, not an automatically renewing subscription. Access follows the exam-cycle window disclosed before checkout. Add-ons require active membership. Prices, delivery terms, refund eligibility, processing-fee deductions, and access effects are stated on the Pricing and Refunds page and at checkout.
5. Content license and ownership
Subject to these terms and applicable access limits, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for study or authorized tutoring. BarExamNextGen content and software remain ours or our licensors'. Exam-administrator names and marks remain their owners' property.
6. AI and educational limitations
AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. Review feedback against the supplied materials and authoritative sources. Do not use the service as legal advice or assume that practice performance predicts admission, an official score, or a particular result.
7. Third parties and availability
We rely on hosting, database, payments, email, security, analytics, and model providers. Maintenance, provider outages, jurisdiction changes, and security events may affect availability. We may modify the service to maintain security, accuracy, or compatibility without reducing already-purchased rights contrary to applicable law.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material misuse, security threats, fraud, charge reversal, or violation of these terms. You may stop using the service and request account deletion. Ownership, payment-dispute, disclaimer, liability, and venue provisions survive as applicable.
9. Warranty and liability boundaries
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, official-score equivalence, admission, or outcome. Nothing excludes a warranty, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the purchase giving rise to the claim.
10. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by California law, without overriding consumer protections that cannot be waived. Any dispute must be brought exclusively in state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
11. Changes, severability, and contact
We may update these terms prospectively by posting a revised effective date and providing additional notice when required. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Questions and notices may be sent to Contact@BarexamNextGen.com.
